This is a wonderful place to get away and enjoy the town of Fredericksburg. Cotton Gin Village is located about 5 min. from downtown via car. We stayed in the Upper Frio cottage. It had a rustic feel, but yet all the modern conveniences. Some places to stay are cottages and some are original log cabins. The service and cleanliness are impeccable.
